Mit etwas \u00dcberredungskunst wird Ihr Metzger es f\u00fcr Sie vorbereiten. Dieser Teil ist das Schwierigste an diesem Rezept, nun folgt die Zubereitung. F\u00fcr das Tomahawk Steak gilt zuerst hei\u00df an grillen und dann indirekt fertig garen. Thymian und Rosmarin waschen, trocken sch\u00fctteln und grob hacken. Etwas von den gehackten Kr\u00e4uter beiseitestellen. Die Steaks gut mit Salz, Pfeffer und den Kr\u00e4utern einreiben, dann etwa 15 Minuten ziehen lassen. Die Kr\u00e4uter anschlie\u00dfend gut abstreifen, sonst verbrennen sie beim Grillen. Das Fleisch von beiden Seiten bei hoher Hitze scharf grillen, sodass sich die Poren rundum schlie\u00dfen und der Fleischsaft nicht austreten kann. Anschlie\u00dfend bei niedriger Hitze etwa 20 Minuten auf jeder Seite grillen, daf\u00fcr die Glut im Grill zur Seite schieben und das Grillgut in die Mitte des Grills legen. Gleichzeitig den Knoblauch mit auf den Grill legen. Nach etwa 40 Minuten testen, ob das Fleisch gar ist. Wenn ja, die Steaks 10 Minuten an der Seite des Grills ruhen lassen.<\/p>\n<p>Den weichen Knoblauch mit einer Gabel aus der Schale schaben, in eine Sch\u00fcssel geben und zerdr\u00fccken. Die \u00fcbrigen Kr\u00e4uter, etwas Salz und Oliven\u00f6l dazugeben und alles verr\u00fchren. Das Knoblauch-Kr\u00e4uter-\u00d6l \u00fcber dem Fleisch verteilen. Die Steaks gegen die Faser mit einem scharfen Messer aufschneiden, den austretenden Fleischsaft dabei auffangen und zum Fleisch servieren. Als Beilage passen Ofenkartoffel oder Salat am besten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Profiliga<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr dieses Steak brauchen Sie Geduld. Lassen Sie es lieber l\u00e4nger auf dem Grill liegen, damit es zarter wird. Salzen Sie es kurz vor dem Servieren noch einmal.
